Huntleigh FD1

The Huntleigh FD1 Doppler by Huntleigh is a handheld device designed for fetal heart detection, particularly effective from early pregnancy and more reliable after 15 weeks. Ideal for use during the antenatal or labor periods, this monitor operates at a 2 MHz nominal frequency using Doppler ultrasound. It features a liquid crystal display that shows the fetal heart rate (FHR) with a heart-shaped dual-indicator; a confidence indicator remains stable when the heart rate is validated. The FHR is averaged over 3 to 5 beats for accuracy. This used unit is powered by two 'AA' alkaline or rechargeable batteries, with alkaline batteries recommended for optimal performance. It is equipped with a low battery indicator. Key features include an 'on/off' switch, volume control, manual count key, and a display 'freeze' key. Each key press is acknowledged by an audible beep. Lightweight and portable, the FD1 is designed to fit in a pocket or clip onto a belt, enhancing its convenience for healthcare professionals. An optional headset is available for private listening.
